Zar ceremony:
Dishes are arranged on a large tray in middle of the house, in the middle 2 candles are placed and around the two big we put the small wax candles. Around them the dishes are placed, almonds, walnuts and dishes of the Fatot (big cakes).
Then they bring red or white sheep or rabbits of the Sudan, as well as birds. The owner Zar (possessed) wear the required clothing - according to the requests by masters through the Codia (Raisa) and then ride the sheep around the Tamas seven times and then the ceremony begins.

Zar starts with everyone sitting and then Zar owner (possessed) begins to move when she hear the beats which compatible with master (who is possessing). In the beginning the whole body trembling, then she shake her head left and right, we'll see a hidden gesture in her eyes trying to confirm for herself and all around that all requests for the Masters have been carried out, whether of birds or ornaments or incense... Etc. Then she starts dancing to the beat of Zar around Tabas and then shared with all whose body responds to this rhythmic melodic precision (accompanied by music and singing) until she falls to the ground. In the abnormal movement begin to gain the persona of Mr. and speak like him and begin tell everyone his requests. In the morning, they roll out white sheet and Codia kneel on her knee with her nose and face on the ground, and they cover another sheet other than furnished under it, and the drum start beating violently by standing musicians, singers and who hold four pillars of upper sheet - and they move with Codia for an hour or more and say to her (tell us your name) from time to time until Master pronounce his name by Codia. There may be one master or more possessing one person, The Codia sits and then crackle her neck in a state of satisfaction associated with fatigue and then slaughter the sheep. And receive blood in a dish and then come with ornaments and jewels, which will be wore by the Zar owner and dive jewelry and gems in the blood of the sheep, and spray a few drops of blood on her face and in hands and in the soles of their feet and then drop a little bit of blood on the ground and then she wears them (jewelry), then divide the sheep and give a quarter with a new dress for the Codia, and then sacrifice rabbits and birds to the Zar owner, as well as Codia. And after cooking the lamb, rabbits, it's forbidden for everyone to taste a bit of all that is exclusive to The Zar and then give a part of everything that was intended for the Possessed. In the morning, they prepare pastry with milk and give the Zar owner three bites and then the Codia and the Zar band are called to eat. Thus the first hospitality ends, and in the seventh day they make a working day which means that the drum runs from morning till evening and then cook without Tabas and they cook usual food for the band of Zar. There are cases where masters do not appear despite repeated beats in such cases, enough faith to heal the patient from pain. In this case the Zar is called "Zar for hidden masters". And the masters' names are... Posse - Om Elgholam - Maromh - Mannar - Ramah - Romana - Alabadi - Alabadia - Sudani - Sudania - Maghriby.
